Emotions do not have intelligence, so they cannot think for themselves. Emotions ride the patterns of your thoughts. Your thoughts determine your emotions. You should strive to see things the way God sees them. When that happens and you trust Him without reservation, you will experience peace that surpasses all understanding. Mind transformation through reading and studying the Bible is vital if you desire to live a life that is in alignment with God.
Many believers have wounded emotions because they have not disciplined themselves to filter their thoughts through scripture. Managing your thoughts will also lower your stress level and it will help you maintain better health. We must pursue the peace of God through devotion and application. That truth will revolutionize your life if you apply it.
